Edie Campbell (Actor/Director/Writer)

Founding and Board Member Edie trained at Guildford School of Acting. Favourite roles include: Miriam, Apples in Winter (OFFIE finalist Best Solo Performance, The Playground Theatre, London); the one-woman plays Emily Dickinson & I (Finborough Theatre London, Edinburgh Fringe and touring) and Cloning Mary Shelley; Lady Tuttle The Vegan Tigress (Petersfield Museum); Alice Comyns Carr Rotten Perfect (Watts Gallery; Petersfield Museum); Mrs Cheveley An Ideal Husband (Electric Theatre, Guildford); Henry V/Prince Hal The Wooden O, Elsa Road to Mecca, Célimène The Misanthrope, Rosie Dancing at Lughnasa (Riverside Theatre, Iowa); Bess Abundance, Me HIM (University of Iowa Theatres); Emily Stilson Wings (Liar’s Theatre, Iowa); and Alison Look Back in Anger (Pegasus, Oxford). From 2009-2019, Edie frequently read and directed for LynchPin’s monthly ScripTease rehearsed readings. Edie is also an independent celebrant.

Jack Lynch (Director/Writer)

Artistic Director and Founding Member of LynchPin, Jack was instrumental in starting ScripTease. Training: The Naropa University, Boulder (BA) and University of Iowa (undergraduate and MFA). He has taught at Central School of Speech and Drama, Greenwich University, Guildford School of Acting, and Guildford College; co-wrote Emily Dickinson & I, the journey of a portrayal, and Cloning Mary Shelley (with and for Edie Campbell); Consider This… (employing stories from The Forgivenness Project); and You Give Me Fever - the Phaedra Cabaret. Jack created ScripTease rehearsed readings which ran from 2009-2019.

Kate Napier (Artifice)

Board Member Kate trained at Central School of Speech and Drama. She worked for many years at Guildford School of Acting as tutor, director & Head of Curriculum and Post Graduate Studies, leaving to pursue her own theatre-making. While at GSA she gained a PhD in Theatre from Royal Holloway University of London, and the idea for Artifice emerged from a practice as research contribution to an academic conference at Chawton House. She now works for Laine Theatre Arts, teaching on their BA(Sons) Musical Theatre programme. Acting credits include Twelfth Night, Romeo and Juliet, A Winter’s Tale and School for Scandal. Directing credits include The Beau Defeated, Art, Antigone, The Sisterhood and The House of Bernarda Alba, as well as all Artifice productions. She was also a regular reader and director of ScripTease readings.

Suzanne Parke (Voice)

Board Member Suzanne has worked with Lynchpin as voice coach, performer and board member since 2006. She is currently Leader of Learning for Peer Productions, an award winning youth arts charity specialising in combining high quality arts practice with peer education. Prior to joining Peer Suzanne was Course Leader of BA Hons Acting for Stage and Screen and Head of Voice at Performance Preparation Academy in Guildford, Surrey. Suzanne is also deeply involved in the Teaching Voice, and delivers comprehensive voice training in the education sector. Her private work, Parke Communication, offers a number of different voice courses, including presentation skills and one to one coaching. The courses are designed for professionals and private individuals who want to improve their communication skills. Suzanne is also a voice over artist represented by Rhubarb Voices.

Claire Parker (Actor/Director/Writer)

Board Member Claire has been involved in the arts her entire life starting as a child performer in the West End in the musical Annie and as Liesl in The Sound of Music. She continued to work extensively as an actress on stage & screen, including a season at the National Theatre and several ITV and BBC series, before leaving for France where she raised a family, ran a dance school, worked as a voice artist in Paris, and worked with cultural organisations, in publishing and began writing. On her return to the UK, Claire started to work with LynchPin Theatre, as a performer, writer and director: her play Rotten Perfect has been produced twice, (2006 and 2017), and LynchPin toured her next play, When the Cat’s Away, in the southeast of England in 2018. and the OFFIE-nominated Apples in Winter in 2022 with an initial London run at The Playground Theatre and ongoing performances internationally. Elisabeth Tooms (Technical)

Board Member Elisabeth studied law at Oxford University and was involved in student theatrical productions. Directed fringe productions, touring in the UK and overseas. Changed direction to work for a City of London law firm. Returned to theatre work, taking commissions as director, stage manager and lighting designer. Stage managed Cloning Mary Shelley and Emily Dickinson and I for Lynchpin as well as LynchPin’s productions of The Women of Lockerbie, Consider This…, and Old Abe, which she also directed. Elisabeth is the Stage Manager and Lighting Designer for Intermission Theatre in London.

Philip Parker (Marketing)

Board Member Philip initially trained as a scientist before commencing a career in book and magazine publishing. He has many years’ experience as an editor, writer and researcher – within charities, publishing companies and the corporate sector, including devising and managing the strategy of Royal Mail’s Special Stamp programme, overseeing high-profile publishing projects with organisations ranging from the WWF to the BBC, from David Bowie to The Old Vic.
